I'll be brief: we are not officially a couple..

- at first we used to have long conversations on the phone, now he doesn't call anymore
- he slept over once and we didn't have sex, we just held each other all night
- he told me that he's never felt as attracted to any other female as he does to me
- whenever we meet, he brings me small presents - like foods that I like, candles, etc.
- when we're in public, he touches me as if we are a couple (holds my waist, etc)
- he shares his financial secrets with me

I ended up really liking this guy and now he has disappeared. If he wasn't interested the whole time, then why all the good signals?

Aside from the comments "now he doesn't call anymore" and "now he has disappeared," things sounded very romantic. It sounded like he was interested and wanted to be with you. I'm not sure why he's suddenly changed direction, though. The best way, and I know it sounds cliche, is to ask him. People always say they are looking for honesty, but more often than not, we find it hard to have those honest conversations. I encourage you to have one of those conversations and just ask him about how he's feeling and what kind of relationship you two want to have. Good luck.

Disappeared? Maybe you should try giving him a call. You must know his phone number, don't you?

Try searching for his phone number on http://www.superpages.com and, make sure to click the White Pages Tab when the page opens.

When you find him, ask him what's wrong and if he needs your help as a friend. Best wishes.

Some guys (like myself) have an aversion to making phone calls. I don't like talking on the phone due to physical problems (my hands fall asleep).

You sound like the two of you hit it off rather well. Maybe something minor has happened that was totally out of his control and he couldn't get back to you just yet.

From the way it sounds, you should give him every opportunity to settle his life so that he may get back into your life.

I wish you the best of luck and don't give up.

It sounds like he got tired of waiting around. Did you ever do amything to display your interest in him? Did you ever give him a small present? It sounds like he has moved on because he got frustrated waiting for you to send him a positive signal.

Maybe he WAS interested the whole time. Sometimes things change. Get in touch with him and ask what happened. Decide after you talk with him what you should do next.

that is confusing. maybe he was interested and something scared him away? try giving him a call and see what hes been up to, it might be the only way for you to talk to him if hes not calling you anymore.
