Neither. When you are ill, regardless of the illness, it is important to drink plenty of fluids, eat healthy meals, and get plenty of rest. Your body needs fuel to rebuild cells and fight infection. It's never good to starve.

Just stay hydrated by drinking lots of fluids. If you feel cold, wrap up until the chill passes. Then dress in light clothing and take a fever reducer, not aspirin, but tylenol or motrin. Eat what you have an appetite to eat.

starve a fever....feed a cold.....but for both keep drinking water or juice.

you dont have to treat either if they arent severe. if your fever is under 101 you dont have or need to treat it. that is your bodys natural defense...as for the cold it is a virus and nothing will make it go away although you can treat the symptoms

if you are sick you need nourishment to help your body fight off the virus/germs.....you should never starve yourself
if your tummy is too upset to eat try dry toast or crackers and broth/soup and plenty of clear fluids
