How old are you, if over 45 no chance, going on balance of family it could take years, best speak to immigration, or do what we are thinking of doing, going to New Zealand for 2 years then you can get in by the back door no problem, that could be the quicker way for you good luck, it's great in oz just got back last Saturday had a great Xmas and new year.

You will need to got a sponsor(someone who lives in Oz willing to sponsor your move) or you have to be in a career that the Australian,s need,Like nursing or teacher,Or you can get a application from Australia house in central London

Haha ... this isn't very nice but my friend's family (i.e. his parents and sister) also had one grown up child too many ... so they all went anyway and left him behind!
You could do the same but I'm not advising it ... it's not very friendly.
