One is very good, however on occasions the other urinates in their cage, and despite the consevatory doors being open will urinate and soil in the consevatory, although this is only occasinally, it is if he is trying to be defiant. Of the two dogs he is the most subservient. Any ideas on how we can resolve this, he is a very affectinate dog. Is this a problem of having two puppies at the same time ?. The problem dog is 19 days older.

Each puppy is different. It's going to take time and patience to housebreak a puppy.

Every dog learns at a different rate. It can also depend on if your problem dog is male and not nuetered. Some dogs are more subservient for quite a while and will have accidents when they get scared or excited. This can sometimes take a while to overcome. Usually it will go away as the dog gets older. Never punish the dog unless you see him actually going to the bathroom inside. Tell him 'no potty' in a firm (but not loud) voice and then bring him straight outside and then tell him 'go potty' in a nice voice. Also make sure that the dog is healthy and does not have a bladder infection.

Does He have bedding in his cage? I have had a similar problem with my male dog as a pup. I was great in the house. He only went one time on the carpet and he never did it again. (Unless of course we are at my fathers house. But this is a dominance issue with his male.) But he did have a problem in his cage. I had to take his bedding out and not put it back in until he was much older. He just would not stop using his cage as a bathroom until I took his bedding out. It was an easy fix once I figured it out. Also is his cage to big for him. Can he go to one place use the bathroom and still be able to lay down without getting soiled? It so section it off so he can't do this, and when you come in open the cage pick him up and take him outside. That will keep him from having an accident on the way. I know it sounds basic but give it a try.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aL2Wc

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

A well-trained dog makes everyone happy, including his owner. Take a little time training him, and you'll never regret it; you'll always have an obedient dog by your side. Find more https://tr.im/XJCeT

By their nature, dogs are pack animals with a well-defined social order. Through basic training, you need to consistently make sure your puppy understands that you are the leader, not him. So in teaching him the basic rules, you take on the role of pack leader.

To fit into the family circle, your dog must be taught to recognize his name and such commands as come, heel, lie down and sit.

I would housetrain this pup from scratch again, take him out every hour and let him have access to the garden regulary aswell. It could be territory marking or it could just simply be that this pup didn't learn as quick as your other pup.Make sure before you ever put him in the crate that he's had opurtunity to go to the toilet, and also take them 2/3walks a day, alot of dogs tend to toilet on there walks more then there garden.Good luck.

Check to see if he has a bladder infection, I don't think he is being bad on purpose. He may not know when he has to pee untill the last second, have him checked. Schnauzers are very well behaved dogs

One of the things you can do, is rub the puppy's nose in the mess and spank his bottom. Also, after you punish the puppy you can give a treat to the other puppy and give it a lot of attention, it might encourage the other dog to start behaving himself so he gets the same treatment. This is how we potty trained all the dogs I've ever owned...Good luck!
