In all high school you have the in crowd and then you have the not so in crowd. As a senior, I don't ever recall pushing anyone into a locker, but because of being the oldest group at school, I got respect. Some people do choose to bully and pick on lower class men, for tradition. But that wasn't my style. I did get lost as a freshman, but I played it off as me meaning to go down the wrong hall as if I were looking for a friend. Don't worry too much about high school. It will be memorable for you, no matter what happens.

No, it's not really that bad, I'm doing pretty well. It's just at first you won't know your way around, but you can always ask people in the halls for help. No, seniors don't push underclassmen into lockers, actually, they probably won't bother you. Some might, but for the most part they don't. For the most part you'll be separated from them anyways. You may get lost the first few days, but eventually you'll get the hang of it. Just remember, if you don't know where a class is, use a map, which is usually in your planner, or ask someone who looks like they know where they're going for help; i.e. staff, or security, maybe even other students. Trust me, as long as you don't get caught up in stupid drama that had nothing to do with you and your friends, you'll be fine. If someone does harass you, tell a teacher you feel you can trust, or go to your dean. Good Luck!

Don't watch anymore high school movies, that stuff doesn't happen. You may get lost once or twice the first couple of months but teachers will always help you find where you need to go. There are some a** holes that will try to make your life a living hell but just use all the power you have to ignore them and they'll use their effort on someone else. Make sure to be yourself because some of these people will become lifelong friends. Have fun, study hard and it'll all be over before you know it.

Also... Don't compare yourself to others - they are more screwed up than you think

ok, calm your self, you're putting lots of rigidity onto your self which isn't sturdy. do not hardship too plenty approximately your grades, of direction do your appropriate and make college your #a million priority, yet while your grades are not sturdy sufficient for college once you graduate you could continually improve, so do not obsess approximately them. I went to a popular intense college so i won't be able to talk for a private college yet confident, intense college would properly be stressful and frightening even even though it does not would desire to be. i'm sorry none of your friends would be there yet you could and could make new acquaintances and you will nonetheless see your previous acquaintances exterior of school. you would be a freshman, yet so will a ton of alternative little ones so remember there is 'secure practices in numbers' and what you could anticipate is a undeniable quantity of hazing (oftentimes verbal) it is appropriate to purely ignore approximately for the main section. If every physique gets actual although confirm you tell your instructor/counsellor etc simply by fact which could get out of hand straight away and it is likewise a criminal offense (so nip it interior the bud earlier that's going to become a police remember). even although, from what I even have heard, hazing in inner maximum faculties happens much less oftentimes than in public faculties. regrettably there is recommend females everywhere even even though it won't be any diverse in intense college than it exchange into in center college so do not hardship approximately that too plenty.

People getting pushed into lockers & things like that are pretty much just crap you see on TV shows. Things like that rarely happen at most real high schools. Don't be scared. :) If it was that bad, no one would want to go.

no way. the rooms are numbered in order, so if you can count, you'll find your class.

seniors that do that stuff get suspended. and as far as the work, you'll be put in classes that are meant to teach ppl at the level of advancement you're at.

example - there will be classes called something like "math", "college prep math", and "calculus".
the first one is the easy one, the last is the hardest. they'll put you in the one you can handle best.

you'll be fine and after the first few weeks, it'll feel like you've always been there.

It's not quite that bad, so long as you stay on the right side of people. Just do what you have to do and avoid getting drawn into anything shady and you should be okay.
