yes it is very contagious!! Not getting treated by your doc can lead to very serious problems. You need to get some antibiotics and if your doctor dont tell you ....after being on the meds and having no fever for 24h you are not contagious anymore and you also need to change your tooth brush so you dont recontaminate yourself

Yes, it is contagious but it shouldn't lead to any other problems. All I can suggest is X-tra strength Tylenol for the day, and Tylenol PM for the night. You can't get rid of it faster. Did you go to a doctor? Because he will put you on antibiotics, also. And once you're on the antibiotics for 24 hrs., you won't be contagious anymore.

It is contagious and can lead to rheumatic fever. Antibiotics are giving ONLY to prevent the strep from becoming rheumatic fever. They will not lesson the duration. As far as the pain I would suggest taking ibuprofen and sipping on a cool drink. Good luck.

Yes it is contagious and the only way to get rid of it is with antibiotics. It can lead to other systemic infections if not treated so if you think you have it go see the doc ASAP.

Strep throat is very contagious. It is treated with antibiotics obtained from your doctor. You can alleviate the discomfort by taking advil, or ibuprofen, throat/ cough drops or by gargling with warm salt water. If not treated, it could spread infection throughout your body.

It is contagious, so don't cough on anyone. The best way to ease the pain is just by having cough drops, and there is some antiseptic spray they sell that numbs the back of your throat so it doesn't hurt.

You have to go to the Dr. to get antibiotics. This is the only cure for it. If it goes untreated it can cause heart problems and kill you. It is contagious, so don't breathe or cough on people.
