Only partly. Remember that was a time when black kids didn't have equal access to education and had to fight for it.
I agree that moral values are key to the welfare of any society. But a more common attitude today is aggression, especially in business.
It may make more money in the short term but as society becomed more aggressive we lose out. Life becomes less comfortable and all our stress levels go up.

In many ways it does. BUT our moral concepts and beliefs will be more important. If morals and values (remember the big 10 Commandments that we live by: don't cheat, steal, covet, swear, worship idols, lie, forget to rest on a day a week (Sabbath is is called), etc) get thrown out of the window, then our future is doomed to be disgusting, horrendous and dangerous.

i do not want to live with a world where information is superseding morality and virtue. Thank you

A good education gives us options, it provides us with the platform for choice, it helps us shape our own futures in some measure but tomorrow will come to us no matter how well we do at school.

This was a personal issue for him - he graduated top of his class from Junior High, and wanted to become a lawyer originally.

yes. education is a passport to good jobs, higher social respect. it is easier to earn more money and be affluent with good education.
