That's a great question. I was only 21 when I got married and have been married for over 20 years now. Yes, I do remember (most) everything about that day. Even though I got blasted!! lol

I would like to have a 2nd wedding so we can really enjoy our friends and family more. The first wedding was more for our parents friends because we were so young.

It has been 21 years since my wedding day and, yes, I remember all of it! The pictures really help. We had no videographer though. I recommend that. My husband is now deceased and it would have been nice to have that footage.
If you want to be sure you'll remember everything, don't drink! There is nothing more unattractive than a drunken bride or groom!

I was married back in 1979...now peacefully divorced 4 years. I do remember the entire day very clearly.

Nice memories ~ ~ ~ Also memories that weeks before our wedding he kept referring to our reception as a party. During our (outdoor park setting) reception he did not pay alot of attention to me as his new bride, I remember him socializing alot with his friends, not taking me off to the side to have tender words. The dinner afterwords in a restaurant with our friends was more a social party atmosphere...not the tender romantic setting a woman dreams of. We did not share a dance at all that day. His best friend had to stop him from handing out gazzos he had bought for the wedding guests to play as I walked down the isle. I was unaware of the gazzos till days later. A indicator of our future life together? Yes...Now peacefully released him from my life, divorced and I'm very happy today raising our three kids (shared custody), socializing with my friends and dating as it comes up.

No. Bits and pieces, like what a brilliant autumn day it was. And giggling to myself when I had trouble getting the ring on his finger.

And a little bit about the reception. The memories that remain are good ones.

But give me a break. It was 47 years ago.
