Hi, I suffered with chicken pox over Christmas after catching it from my hubby. I am the same as you. scabs have gone but now have red marks. I believe it will take a few more weeks for the spots to fade. The ones on my face have mainly gone but its the ones on my body that are still visible. Chicken pox is something I wouldn't like to catch again.

HI
Depending on your age and how badly you had the Chicken Pox determines how long it will take for the marks to go away. It can take months. You said you didn't scratch so don't worry, they will go away.

If you scratched them, they will probably leave a permanent scar. I have a scar on my forehead from when I had chicken pox when I was little, but you can barely notice unless you look really close.

my sister still has scars and she was about 5 when she had chicken pox (shes 20 now) they might just heal up and fade in time but if not try using bio oil, it seems quite expensive but it lasts ages and works wonders on scars

Try Environ's derma lac lotion. Goggle it and it will come up. Apparently, it gets rid of it but I haven't tried it myself so I can't tell you for sure. Left alone they will go away but it takes a month or so but some people are left with scars. Go to you doctor or a dermatologist so they can sort you out properly or try that lotion.

Any you scratched and broke will probably be permanent but will fade, I have one or two from when I was a Kid.
The red marks will eventually fade but no idea how long

*Sorry to say......Jack! in most cases*
It all mainly depends on ya age!
Speaking from experience, of a very bad case, & it almost
drove me crazy, but left me with very sensitive skin alligies ;((
& scars even though I DID NOT SCRATCH!!!!
My advice make sure you take lots of evening primrose oil, & a time relise vitomin "C", & eat as much fresh fruit & green veg as possible
I wish you good luck ;))

They will gradually fade but not go comp-letely; they do become un noticeable though but it take stime. Cosmetic surgery is far too drastic - just be patient.
