yes they can but an ultrasound is an investigation mainly used to evaluate solid organs like liver,kidney or spleen,even though seen in a scan clinically significant details of d stomach are not readily apparent.a better investigation for evaluating the stomach is an endoscopic examination or a CT scan.

Yes, they can look at pretty much anything with ultrasound. However, some organs and some conditions are better viewed with ultrasound, and some are better viewed with other diagnostic tools.

Yes they can but will probably only do it if your doctor has suggested it, it would only take an extra few mins so it wouldn't be a problem (watched one the other day of stomach/pancreas/intestines/bladder etc - took 15mins tops)

when they use the diagnostic tool of an ultrasound espec of the abdomen they are looking at the entire abdomen tummy an kidney's they r looking for abnormalities in the normal size of any organ to confirm any complications

Yes but they won't necessarily in the same session. Depends what the indication is.
