I stayed at the TOUCAN-INN in Tobago one year ago with my wife on a bed &breakfast basis and it was extremely good value for money .
Rooms were basic but very clean, the breakfast was huge and very nice evening meals cost from about £10-£20 each and were excellent ,only a 10minute tranfer from the airport ,no real noise at the hotel.
The price we paid for the first two weeks of January was
£650.00 £each flying from England ,Booked with Thompson.

I'm getting married in Jamaica and alot of my partners family can't afford to stay in our hotel.

The caribbean is very expensive in general but I've found a site which offer great priced flights and hotel accomodation
http://www.airline-network.co.uk

You can then get reviews of the hotels on http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk

I went to Dominica Republic in 2006, it is French speaking Caribbean holiday destination, but was cheap! Me and my partner went for 2 weeks all-inclusive costing £560each, which I thought was pretty good as the hotel, food, beach etc was top notch, we got that deal with Co op travel agents on the high street.

Good luck and hope you have a good holiday.

You should be able to book a Caribbean cruise for under $500pp, cruise only. This is a great deal if you live close to Florida, you can just drive down. Otherwise, you'd have to budget airfare, still a great deal!

Google discount cruise agents. We have used cruises only and seasavers several times.

Try air tours. I'm from the C'bean and lots of people seem to use them. They offer charter flights and include hotel stay and transport in their packages. It's more expensive this time of year as it's our peak season.Hold off until march/April for some great spring break deals in Negril or Montego bay, Jamaica!!
