YES !
When you select search for updates -- it will do so, and display the available updates.
You select them by ticking off each box (I found it rather unusual also that I needed to check them off, after it offered them to me -- but yea, you do.)
Should you get an error displayed when you're downloading these, it usually indicates a high level of traffic at the default server. You can change the server-download selection from a "drop-down" selection just above the window the download selection appears.
Play it safe, check for updates every couple of weeks.

Yes they are all updates. Check all of them unless it offered you foreign language packs.
Before you close out of Spybot don't forget to use the Immunize feature.
