Neutrogena makes the BEST face wash. If you wash your face daily, and ensure you do not touch your face with dirty hands, your skin will be clearer and cleaner, and you won't have to use that harsh medication.
Best of luck!

You've got some good advice above, but something you should always remember is that when you wash your hair, the soap and dirt from it usually runs down over your face and more than likely you are taking a hot shower which results in your pores being open and filling up with shampoo and the dirt. Make certain to alway wash your face AFTER you wash your hair. This might be helpful. Another thing you could try is to hold a VERY VERY warm wash cloth (as hot as your can stand actually) on your face before washing it, to help open the pores so that the oil and dirt accumlated on your face can be freely washed away.
Best wishes!

Do you mean medication from a dermatologist? Well, there's a lot of over-the-counter products. I know Clearsil has small tubes of cream for blemishes and pimples- the product was very good if you left it on overnight.
I also know that bad acne can be from too much stress, or bad eating habits. I heard taking vitamin E and A is good for skin, and drinking lots and lots of water should cleanse your body's "impurites" or toxins that usually exit from the skin.
The product you use really depends on your skin type and lifestyle. Some people really benifit from exfoliatants and scrubs, while others do better with daily washing of the face with mild soap. If acne coming from bad eating habits or stress, you might want to try resolving those problems to improve your skin.
I also hear that products with benzyl peroxide are good, but can be harsh on the skin. You can look at this article http://www.webmd.com/content/article/1/1707_50068.

It's all based on what kind of skin you have.
I have very sensitive skin around my chin area. I had bad acne as a teen, and I found that just using water, no soap, worked the best. Whenever I used soap, or any kind of acne medicine, it would make my acne worse.
I would just wash off my face with very hot water in the morning, at lunch I would wipe the grease off of my face with cold water, then at night hot water followed by cold.
If you can, go to a dermatologist, and they can help you determine what you need to do.

WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT POP THEM IT CAN LEAVE SCARS ON YOUR FACE FROM WHERE THEY USED TO BE! DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE TELLING YOU TO POP THEM!
Alternativley toothpaste is good to wash your spots in dab a small anout on the area rub it in and then rinse it off! This sounds wired but works a cheap alternative to face care products.

don't pop that, popping them makes it worse. it pushes the dirt farther down into your skin, causing more pimples later.
you could make all-natural fruit face masks. bananas work well, but here's a good formula :
INGREDIENTS
honey, as needed (about 1/8 cup)
1/4 apple
1/4 orange, peeled
6 grapes
3 strawberries
1. blend fruits (but not honey) in your blender or food processor until smooth.
2. wash face and pat dry. immediately apply a thin layer of honey, then smooth the fruit mixture evenly over the honey.
3. allow mask to remain in place for at least 15 minutes, then wash off with warm water and gently pat dry.

Well, you don't have to use all that nasty stuff.
Just use a simple astringent.
Or use Stridex Pads. They work good too.
But, astringents by CLEAN AND CLEAR or SEA BREEZE are the best thing to use.
Good luck...and don't pop the pimples...they scar.

I just heard recently... someone said to use plain toothpaste.. Now you can't walk around with it on your face..but wash daily and use it at night. Google it. It might show up on the internet too.
