I have had numerous strange health problems in the past year. The one thing that baffels me is this...no matter what I'm doing, where I am, I will all of a sudden get nauseated & dizzy, I will feel like I am about to pass out but I don't and then it goes away. This happens everyday several times a day. My ears don't hurt and I am not sick with a virus. I can't take the time off of work to go to a free clinic. I am not pregnant either. Any ideas? When I look up nausea, dizziness it brings me no real results...its too vague...help?

You may have sugar problems, either diabetes or hypoglycemia. You should take time to see a health care professional and get this checked out, it is very serious! Until you do, try eating small snacks between meals, every two or three hour time allotments- like cheese and crackers or celery and cream cheese, peanut butter crackers, or a glass of orange juice. You want to stay away from sugary foods like doughnuts, candy bars, etc. Eating a snack can help maintain your blood sugar levels until you eat a normal meal again. Symptoms of both diabetes and hypoglycemia are headaches, nausea, dizzy spells, fatigue, temporarily blurred or abnormal vision, and mood swings just to name a few. There is a glucose monitor that you can purchase to check your own blood sugar levels and some companies supply free test strips to use with the monitor. It is very important however, that you see a doctor or other health care professional, you could easily slide into a coma if this indeed is the problem which would mean hospital bills. If diabetes is detected early you may only need to take a pill to regulate your sugar, if it is advanced you may have to take insulin shots. I had the very same symptoms as you, went to my Dr. and found I am hypoglycemic. I control it with diet and have for the last seven years, but it can develop into diabetes. Diabetes is also hereditary so if anyone in your family history has been diagnosed with it, I highly recommend a doctors visit for your sake. I hope this helps!

You are either diabetic or hypoglycemic. You need to have a diabetic screen. What you want to do is go to a clinic and ask for that kind of test. If you go there, the cost will be cheaper than going to a hospital. If your job doesn't provide for you medical insurance, then go to www.PacifiCare.com. They have afforable insurance rates. You can ask of an information package. If that company is too much money for you, go to www.BlueCross.com.
They have good rates as well. That way, you can get the help that you need without paying all of those costs. You really do sound like you are diabetic. Hopefully, you will get the help that you need. Feel better!!!!!!!!!

Could be anxiety. NOW, I can walk through a mall an entire day and not get tired or dizzy, but I use to get anxious alot and Id walk from one end to the other, and be fatigued. When you feel it coming on, take some deep breaths. Also, this sounds simple, but white tic tacs really do help with the nausia. Mint is a natural stomach sedative, so if you feel nausious, eat a tic tac and it will subside.

I would ONLY GUESS that this might be a sugar problem. Low...high... Don't mess around with your health. Find doctors in your area who'll take clients on a sliding scale fee basis. I'm sure your work will function without you. If they can't then they'd better give you a raise. Good luck!
