The most ridiculous religion is Yours, whatever it is for asking such question.

You should respect all people, and with that you should respect their religion they go hand in hand, but when you ask a question like that, you are asking others to be prejudice and judgmental. Bad form, very bad form.

Every religion can be picked on and viewed as you like to call it, 'ridiculous' including yours. Ever heard of 'People who live in glasses housed shouldn't throw rocks at others." Your house is all glass.

I would say number seven. When man began cultivating the ground, they were able to stay in one place, and not starve. Where in the past they would kill meat to exist, now they could keep live stock, and live off the land. Cattle or livestock was the first money, and anyone who had a large herd, was a very rich man. (The Proverbial Golden Calf), or Cash Cow. So they are worshipping the Almighty dollar, just like the Americans, and most of the world does. I think this was the point of the Cain and Abel story. The cultivater, though he had livestock, offered vegetables, the hunter (Abel) took the food out of his mouth (out of his want) and offered it to God. (When I see the starvation and drought over there, and the cows starving and dying themselves, I wonder why they don't use some for food.) Do they value money more than life? It is ridiculous, and it makes me wonder.

I think all religion's creation story is funny. It is the beginning of proof that God has not supernatural omnipotent power to know the causality of atoms, earth's rotation around the sun, the chemical causes of the earth to create life, the reproductive process between men and women, and the way the human body's circulatory system worked.

All creation stories were written by PEOPLE who were afraid and superstitious about things they didn't understand. I think all mythical creation stories are interesting to read but good proof that God wasn't at all in the picture or it would have revealed and taught to the existing people the cures for disease early on. Why didn't God tell people about pennicillin from the get go?

Either GOD isn't all knowing and didn't know about curing infections and sanitation or he was a mean ole guy who wanted to laugh at human bumbling and enjoyed watching people suffer.

Creation Stories of ALL RELIGIONS are the most ridiculous stories. It nullifies religion from the start.

I would like to correct you in your errors:
1. It's not quite a god, but a being that controls different aspects of the universe
2. God is represented by/represents the trinity
7. Cow is not a god but an animal to be respected because it was a favorite of Krishna, who happens to be one of the incarnations of god (and for its milk, for its calf which could be used in wagons and could be used for farming, the fuel it provides, the leather it provided on its death... all for some grass)

The most ridiculous belief is that following rituals (while indulging in greed, stealing, cheating, harming others etc.) will get people into heaven.

The most ridiculous belief is the one which leads to more suffering for the individual believer and those in the believer's world. All of those listed are capable of that, just as all of them are capable of inspiring great good. If by "ridiculous" you mean worthy of ridicule, then the beliefs are not, but many of their believers are. Paraphrasing a little, "The fault lies not in the stars, but in ourselves."

All religions are ridiculous if you have no faith. Today's Christianity is not just about believing the bible but experiencing Gods presence in yr life everyday. Like all things, if you don't intentionally look for it, you won't find it.

The most ridiculous of all the impure religions is:
you too can have partiality with an impartial God.
Such is not only an oxyMORON, but also a LIE.
For "there is no respect of persons with God".

Pick Law God: concluded "all"(not some) in unbelief: all perish.
Pick Grace God: will have mercy on "all"(not some): none perish.
Either way, of extinction(law) or salvation(grace), it's notably "all".

Gandhi: the choice is either non-violence or non-existence.

The seven you listed, are as "seven other spirits": more wicked.

Kinda like the seven other names of love thy neighbor as thyself.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus->Christ with you->all. Amen.

In the first place I think your multiple choices are not depicted accurately. You do not seem to understand Christianity, Hinduism or even Jew judging by the kind of comments that you made.

I think atheist is infact a 'kind of religion' since it is their belief that there is no God.

I wish to all atheists that you be put in a situation where you are nearing death (hanging from a cliff) and see what kind of response you will act upon.... and see if you will call upon God!!!!

#7 is incorrect. Hindus do now worship cows. They are "sacred". Meaning that a live cow provides far more benefit than a dead one.
But the rest are bang on the money.

That if you kill or are killed for your God in the cause of fighting to spread the faith, then you will automatically get a clean slate of your life and go straight to Paradise to enjoy the most sensual experience.
