Our Bodies is the House of God, & the best way for us to build that house is to grow in the Lord. The Knigdom of God is within US, There is no holliness about any house, except one & that one day it will be purified, & that is the Temple that will be built & after it is built & cleansed after armeggeddon, There Christ will sit & rule with his Bride for 1000 yrs, & that is the temple on the rock, NOT the temple that is there now, But the one that is soon to be built.

The church building is a place to go assemble the body of Christ. All people are welcome to come in, Christian and non believers alike.
No where in the New Testament does God command His people, the followers of Christ to come to the "temple/church" to worship Him.
In the Old Testament, God does command the people to come and worship Him.
Those that follow just the Old Testament follow it by building the "temples" to go and worship God. Those sects don't believe in the New Testament at all.
If you are a true believer in Jesus Christ, the "temple" (church) is in you. You can go and worship God any time of the day, seven days a week.
The church building is used to fellowship and worship. But, we don't have to worship God in the assembly, just fellowship.
Many do not separate fellowship and worship. Many of the Christian denominations believe if you don't attend a "church" you are less of a Christian then they are. Not true!!!!
Paul tells us not to "forsake the assembly", he does NOT say the assembly is the place for worship, but for fellowship.
If the denominations would set aside their own doctrine that they have extracted from God's TRUE doctrine, they would have more people in attendance to come and fellowship one with the other.
The traditions and rituals that many denominations follow from the Old Testament is actually going against what Jesus taught about.
The Christians call their church building the House of God, only because that is their gathering place for believers to come together to worship and fellowship. IMHO they need to just come and fellowship, not worship God. Like I said earlier, we can worship God any time and any where as long as it is a respectful place for God.

It is a place that is directly made and dedicated to God Most High who sometimes fills the church with the Holy Ghost* Have you read the verse: where two or three are gathered together in His name the he will be among them. So He is among us in the church building

No He lives in the hearts of His people. We call Church the house of God, because we dedicate the building in His honour and that is where all the believers meet to praise and worship Him.

Church, the building with 4 walls, is a place to assemble yourself with believers.
Jesus really called His body, which are those who accepted Him as savior and Lord of their life the"church"
How is that because when you accept Jesus, He comes into your heart, and make you over. You house the spirit of God within you. So you are the temple of God. That's why christians should walk right before sinners and talk right, because we display God in our life beccause we have Him in our hearts. Don't be fooled everybody who wear the title of christian don't have Him in their hearts. That's why you shouldn't look at man, but the one who created Him.

It is a building made by man on Earth.
People wanted a place to worship God that would make them think or believe a beautiful place that is Worthy to be called God's House...The idea of how glorious God is and How lofty and far off Heaven is in the clouds. The Ceilings Spacious and the Steeple poping up pointing in the clouds the touch to the sky where God Is
How beautiful we can make it and fill it with rich things of marble and gold and artwork to make a non reader or non believer believe in God or feel close to God as we tell them the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how he died one time and rose to let mankind know that all is not lost and you can be forgiven for your sins.
The first man messed up to Adam The plans for life and sin entered the world by eating the forbidden fruit...Everything became Chopped and Screwed Up and man was distend to die.
Jesus took on the flesh and the Spirit Over Shaddowed Mary and she Said let it be done as she was the handmaiden to God to carry the blood line of David and Joseph did not touch her an he to had the blood line of David. No Sin took place to create Jesus
Born without Sin Jesus was able to handle the job as the Son of God and save Mankind from death and destruction. We need a place to tell the story dedicated to
God Unlike any ordinary house A house that is worthy of mending minds and hearts to God...You really do not need such gold and marbel and stain glass up in here. Yet it is lofty and nice but not enough for God or as people feel rich enough as God has Heaven richer than our wildest dreams. Men have died in the building of churches in the construction from falls off the ceilings trying to build Gods house on Earth to be a thing of beauty that man might believe. It is thoughtful to go to jewlery stores and imagine the streets of gold and the many mansions built by
God and the Angels for Us when we have reached reserection and only by Death can Mortals Picture Imortality and be able to meet God Face To Face. No Man Shall See The Lord Hebrews 12:13

People tend to put their human views on the name of things. A church is not a building. It is the people, the spirit, and the fellowship.
