I personally like the old bronze Ping Anser.

The Odyssey 2-ball series is tremendously popular. I have the White Steel version.
It's regarded year in and year out as the number one putter out there... check out Golf Digest, it's always on the Hot List. I've actually tried three putters over the last 3 years, and nothing came close to ousting the 2ball. It has great weight and the two ball really helps your alignment.
Just FYI, the other two putters were the Nike Oz Black T130 and the TaylorMade Rossa I tried. I have a buddy who has the Ping Craz-E and absolutely loves it. However.... the guy who's the best putter I know carries an old Slotline and swears by it.

I've used Odyssey White Hot & a few different Scotty Cameron models.....all of them were great putters. I now use the "Heavy Putter" (yes, the 1 from the infomercial) and I actually love it. The heavy weight balanced thru the whole club is helpful as advertised. I'm usually skeptical about stuff off TV, but this one works.

I have a two ball putter, but I think it's too light. I think I haven't gotten used to it yet. However, I have a cheap 20 dollar putter that I think is the best ever. Whatever you're comfortable with is what is the best.

i use the Odyssey white hot 2ball putter, it works great for me, it gives me good feel and a smooth stroke

Anything made by Scotty Cameron is good. They're also very expensive!
