Iv been doing these for years and had some of the best weekends of my life. Ive been to butlins for the last three years and this year we will be going to the isle of weight

Yes it's a con. My parents were looking into it last summer - it was £9.50 to the Sun, then at least £200 to the resort they wanted to go to. So it would have cost £209.50 EACH.

I haven't actually used them but I used to work in Pontins (Southport) where the holidays were taken and I must say that the majority of people that holidayed for £9.50 (although not all of them) were the dregs of humanity. No manners, no respect and no money !!! Most came from Liverpool & Manchester. As somebody has already said "You get what you pay for".

I overheard a woman talking about this. She said it was indeed £9.50, but then you get extra charges for various things including using the entertainment there.

Yep and had a jolly good time.
I didn't find any of it a rip off....actually it was a bargain.
The only reason I havn't done it again is because I keep forgetting to collect the tokens!!!!

Reasonably good value. Just dont bank on getting your 1st choice date or holiday park.

I know someone who goes every year - to a caravan in the Isle of Wight I think - and he loves it!
