Okay Ill explain further...
Nothing can be eternal because only one this is eternal..and thats God.
Heaven and Hell will remain eternal if only He choses so. What if He doesnt choses to someday?

OUR spirits ARE eternal. THAT is why God came to earth as Jesus the Christ, to redeem us so that those who accept Him into their hearts will be able to spend eternity with Him. YBIC

I'm not sure I can accept your assumption that we are "obviously" not God. We may not be the totality of an omniscient, omnipresent force, but what if we are each a part of the whole? What if everything that is good and creative and nurturing about all of us is God? On a basic level all children are composed of the DNA of their parents; as children of God wouldn't we be composed of the spiritual DNA of God? This need for a duality of "us" and "them" seems to be responsible for most of the evil in the world. What if we eliminate the concept of "them" and there is only the greater "We/I"; could that be God? And what if eternity is the blink of an eye? And then the next eternity begins. What if "now" is the only eternity? How would life be different? We all believe what helps us to justify our lives. If believing that you are separate and eternal is of help - then believe that. If not, believe something else. No one can prove or disprove your beliefs; they either work for you or they don't.

None of the souls that God creates existed before God created them. But every human soul that God creates lives forever after God has created that soul.
Eternity means outside of time. When we die, we will be outside of time. The difference is that we had a beginning here in time, but God has always existed. It's just a matter of where our soul will be for eternity after this life here on earth.
Heaven or Hell, God gave us free will to decide for ourselves. God also entered into our history about 2,000 years ago to personally give us one Catholic (universal) Church to teach us about God and how we can be saved from eternal loss.

God is eternal and His energies are also eternal. We are part and parcel of God, His energies, like our hand is part of our body, the body of God is completely spiritual and eternal, full of bliss and knowledge, and we being part of Him, we also possess the same qualities, like one drop of water from the ocean has the same qualities of the big ocean but the quantity is different. Being small, we are cover by matter, this material body, when we get rid from material desires and the only desire is to be with God and serve Him, till then this material covering will be finished, the material body and we the soul will go back to Him. Matter is temporal, heaven and hell are in the jurisdiction of the material Universe and is created and annihilated. But the spiritual kingdom of God never is annihilated and there is where we belong, and that is the goal of human form of life, to go back home back to God.

HOW can you Compare THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD, with that Of HIS CREATON, i.e. Heaven and Hell!
Do you NOT KNOW THAT HELL AND DEATH WILL END? Perhaps YOU Need To READ THE BIBLE?
(Revelation 20:10-to-15) And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
(Rev 20:11) And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
(Rev 20:12) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
(Rev 20:13) And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
(Rev 20:14) And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
(Rev 20:15) And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Thanks, RR

Well you could interpret this to mean you also become god-like which is obviously the point of Jesus' teachings- so people become like him. In essence to attain spiritual awareness and also become a God, only in Christianity this sort of thinking is not allowed (taboo) because the rules state a clear separation between man and god. And so you with this question you have discovered something of the paradoxical nature of the religion

Eternity was used as an adjective to descripe the omnipresent of God. Time must be viewed in a three dimensional state to fully understand what eternity means. God is beyond existence and time.
(well, what ever that meant....I tried...)

Jesus came to give us eternal life with Him hereafter. If Jesus had not come we would all be facing eternal hell. This is what the Bible tells us. No one hates you. The Bible is impossible to thoroughly understand without the Holy Spirit inside of you. The Holy Spirit teaches us all things.

If you will take the time to study your bible, you will find that all your questions can be answered with practical study.
Revelation is a good place to spend some time with a knowledgeable friend.
In it you will find out what happens to the dead, what happens to false religion, about the new heavens and new earth. About God pitching his tent with man kind.
With the new knowledge, you will be able to challenge your preacher and back him down.

God does not change and He does not go back on His Word. He has kept His promise to Abraham, His covenant still exists with the Jewish nation. I don't hate you by the way. You are just not sure if you can trust God.
