She broke up with me almost 1 year ago as she didn't know what she wanted/ wasn't sure of all her feelings and wanted to see other guys. She knew she broke my heart and that I loved her.
We recently got back in touch and we told each other we both still like each other and both said it would be nice to meet each other again. Last time I saw her was 5 months ago (some months after breaking up) and she seemed like she regretted breaking up back them (she kissed me when I left and told me it was nice to see me).
Has anyone ever got back with an ex? Did you talk about the past, or just give it a go again & forget the past? Just want to make sure we don't get into the same situation again....

You need to figure out what your problems were in the past and solve them. Getting back together with an ex is just going to rehash those old old problems that you had in the past. If you are not going to solve them, you are going to break up again. It's the same sh*it, different year.
There is a reason why you broke up in the first place. Going back to your ex is like the lowest thing you can do. You're wasting valuable time.

I think its very important to talk about the past if u are going to try again. You need to decide if the person has really changed, because if there is no change the end result will ultimately be the same. Whatever were the main issues that were problems the first time, those need to be discussed. Taking it slow the second time is important too, don't just rush into it. You need to realize if this is truly what u want or if u just want it back because it's more comfortable for u rather then starting new with someone else.

Forget the past very few peoples get there ex back and lucky ones you're lucky that you got your ex back I think you should move on you should forget about the past good for you and for her too. Its better you except her and start a new life. Thats what I think.

i think you should work it out its obvious you both care about each other and hopefully she now knows what she wants dont dread on the past maybe try to start totally over again

doesn't sound like you left on bad terms (thats a good thing). ever here the saying "if you love them, let them go and if they love you they will come back. Thats what sounds like what going on here. I think if you get back together you will be surprised. sound like she knows what she wants. all the best
