Please don't breed. You are contributing to animal overpopulation. And you are more than likely creating dogs that many will someday end up in a rescue/animal shelter, and are taking away loving homes from animals who are already living in animal shelters.

Do you have a few thousand dollars saved up for a possible c-section if the female were to need one during delivery? Have both of the parents been health tested for genetic diseases common in their breeds (and no, just taking them to the vet for a regular checkup doesn't count). Are the dogs registered? Have they been in shows for conformation? Have you met and spent time with a REPUTABLE breeder who will show you the ropes and teach you how to take care of the puppies/mother? Are you prepared to possibly keep all of the puppies if they do not sell? And to spay/neuter all of them if they do not sell, because you do NOT want litter mates breeding with each other.

Anyway, overall, if you don't know the answer to a simple question like that, then you are not prepared to breed dogs. Please, think twice about what you are doing. Breeding is not a money making venture, it is something you do for the love of the breed, and can end up COSTING you more money than you make off of the puppies.

Don't breed mutts. If you don't know how to breed dogs properly clearly you shouldn't be. Dude, you are asking for advice on the net. You obviously have nowhere near enough expertise in this area, so just don't~!

And what do you mean by tie?

Yes she does. This is the reason dogs can not breed in the wild.

That is filled with irony of course.

NO, dogs do not have to be tied in order to breed.
