If I had to find my uncle in the US where would I go?
He's a marine biologist, probably in his 60's I think I have his second name. I defitnetly have his first name and his wives name.
Where do marine biologists work. At Uni's what? thanks guys

There are MANY places someone with that backround could work. You may want to do a search to find out where someone with that knowledge may work. I know they may be at a University for starters and there are 1,000's of them alone in the states. Not to mention research facilities, which also total in the thousands.
A good place to start would be with the state you think he was born in or might be in now. A wife usually takes the husband's name and makes it her's too. If she did(most likely) that will be his last name too. Try some of these links to help you get started. Good Luck. I believe most or all of these are free.

You might try the boards on ancestry.com. They are listed by last (or second) name. Post all the information you can think of (marine biologist, wife's name, ect).

I found a childhood friend that way...
