make sure your firewall is turned off, then check the windows firewall it may be on too.if that doesn't work go to run - type msconfig go to selective start up right down everything that is checked - uncheck them all do the download then put the checks back in the boxes. you may also need to reset you privacy control to medium to allow active - x controls.

Hello,

(ANS) inorder to be able to download & install the latest flash player, you need to check on the security settings within your web browser. For example in IE6 you need to enable, plugins, signed activeX controlls, & downloads.

**The flash player is a small plugin piece of software (about 8K last time I downloaded it) which adds extra functionality to a web page such as being able to view a flash movie or animated graphics.

**The flash player & plugin loads itself into windows\downloads folder.

**The player plugin should install by itself and this only takes a few moments if your on a fast broadband connection, you might have to only refresh the web page for it to work. At worst you might have to close the web browser and reload the web page/site for it too work OK.

Hope that helps?

Go to Add/remove programs and remove any previous versions of flash then downoad the installer from http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash close all browser windows and run the installer. (you may not need to close browsers but I think its a good idea as it installs flash plugins into the browser)

check your pop-up blocker and also your security settings, may be set too high.....there is a link on the page to click if the download does not start...try that as well.
