I constantly craved cheese when I was pregnant with my son and he is four and refuses to eat cheese or anything with it, always has. I'm not talking about dirt cravings. Just food.

For my kids, it was opposite. I have 3 girls, with the first, I couldn't eat or cook meat without getting sick. i ate tons of salad, yogurt, cheeses, and lunchmeat. During her toddler years, those were almost the exact foods that were her favorites. My second, I had cravings for spicy foods, and more fruit! To this day, her favorite foods are buffalo wings, and watermelon. My youngest, I craved burgers, steak, fried chicken, any meat I could get my hands on, and she is a total meat and potatoes baby.
I don't know if what we eat when we are pregnant actually affects the way our kids eat, but it sure always seemed like more than coincidence to me.

ive heard the same thing from 2 women who ate a lot of particular foods when they were pregnant: 1 was cream and 1 was tangerines. In both cases the women ate heaps of each and their kids cant go near either of them even until 8-9 years old.

During my pregnancy with my second son, I craved hot sauce and spicy foods. He is 16 now and loves hot sauce and spicy food. During my pregnancy with my third son I craved watermelon and he loves it. I have 3 boys and they will eat almost anything, and I mean anything. I love most food and never really presented not liking food as an option to them when they were babies.

I craved watermelon. I carried during a hot July and August. I couldn't get enough! It quenched my thirst like nothing else and that year it tasted so sweet and delicious every time. Never has tasted the same since for me. My child won't touch it!

It really doesn't mater. Children like what they like and it's the healthy eating habits that they learn from you so show a good example and they will follow suit.
