Both! I have 5 dogs and 2 cats, but depends on what care you can give them. It's not nice to have a dog when you are out of the house every day for 9+ hours while a cat won't care that much. Do you like dependent animals (Dog) or independent animals (Cat)?

well dogs are very hard work and a lot of money and cats are easy but i would get a dog but only if u had time a it

cats, are good if you want company, and you can leave them in your house without being with them all the time, you just have to feed them and pet them from time to time.
Dogs require a lot of attention, you have to take them for a ride, etc
If you have time and if you like to go out for a ride with a dog every day, then a dog. Or if you can pay somebody to take your dog for a ride every day, then a dog is a good company.
Dogs show more affection than cats.
Cats, they just go for the food.

Without a doubt Dogs Rule. They are dedicated, loving, loyal affectionate, versatile pets. Not only are they better companions but they offer protection. A dog can be a bigger part of your life than a cat.

I was a dog handler in the Army back in the 70's and dogs will eat their own feces,I would have to say CAT'S
