If evolution were true, why is man not continuing to evolve?
Why don't apes continue to evolve?

If life has to evolve from lower life forms, how did that very first life form come into existence? Life can't evolve from non-life, therefore there was nothing to evolve from, therefore it had to be created by a superior being.

That was God.

There is still dust because only needed a small amount to make Adam and Eve.

This is a common misconception. Humans didn't evolve from the apes that are here today, such as chimpanzees, but rather both chimps and humans both evolved from the same ape that is no longer around.

However, even if it were true that the ancestor of humans was the modern chimp, it's very conceivable that while one group of chimps became separated and had to evolve in order to survive, another group was left in an environment where they were still perfectly adapted to thrive.

Environmental pressures induce evolutionary change in any given species-there are still apes because not every species of primate was subject to the same environmental pressures as man was. That must be about the hundredth time I've addressed that same facile question although at least you said apes which is an improvement on monkeys-no wonder I've developed such disdain for creationists. You're your own worst enemies. You will never be taken seriously until you actually start making serious challenges to evolution instead of mindlessly churning out the same old nonsense.

According to atheists man evolved from a primate that has a link between man and ape, the ape that they evolved from became extinct during the death of the dinosaurs. actually i believe man evolved from lizards and birds, they type that they evolved from became extinct (remeber that word ?) yeah it sounds like youre taking the easy road by believing in that evil tyrant Jehovah use your brain and stop assuming christians are right all the time.

The same reason there are different Races of humans they evolved to fit their enviorment .
Apes are just lower evolved humans that have adapted to live in jungles .Look at the characteristics of some apes and compare them to jungle living humans like the Aborigines .
I see your shell is human but your brain has not developed past the chimpanzees.

The same as above.
If God made man from the dirt, then why is there still dirt?

There are still apes because mankind evolved from a common ancestor to the primates. Not from apes. Thats also why there is different types of 'apes'
In summary. 'I dont know' why 'apes' havent become more 'human' if you will.

Wow, was that ever predictable. This is one of those questions that two seconds of research would have prevented you looking like a moron. Just saying. For next time.

Man and apes evolved from a common ancestor that no longer exists.

Man did not evolve from apes.

They had a common ancestor.

The Quran explicitly says God turned a certain peoples men into apes and swines for punishment.

Maybe thats when this all started.

But no they had a common ancestor, but people chose to call him an ape. When in fact it was neither ape nor human 'accoridng to research'. Makes you think doesnt it.

Life also evolved from simple celled organisms.

Why are there still simple celled organisms, HALLELUJAH! (sarcastic, sad I have to tell you)

Evolution does not mean the end of a species. By the way, evolution is happening as you read this message. Drug resistant TB and the Influenza virus adapting to your immune system. Evolution occurs rapidly at the smaller cellular level.

Man may or may not have evolved from apes. It is all a religious theory based on no scientific evidence. No facts exist to prove it cause we cannot test the theory. Just like a religion it is based on faith that a mans belief in himself and his own wisdom equates to fact. Thus it is no better than religion.

If you are a Marine I want to thank you for your service to the USA. I proudly support out troops. I am a Air Force veteran. Next I see that you are a christian and extend my hand to you in brotherhood. Finally I ask you to make sure you know about the science you are using before you comment. You lack of knowledge brings shame and ridicule of the name of our Lord..... Jim
