I love to make a great burger also so this is what I do. I mix 1 package of onion soup mix to 1 lb. of ground beef. Then in a pan I melt 1/2 stick of margarine and a couple of teaspoons of worcestershire sauce. make the patties and cook in the already warm skillet with butter and worcestershire sauce covered with a lid. I cook for a while and then turn them over and cook more until the juices run clear. I serve them on an onion roll. Very good !!!

the thing with beef burgers when making from scratch is that you can add anything with it and it will always taste nice.

Why not get yourself a bowl of 500g minced beef, mix in your herbs such as pepper, salt, persley(whatever is in your cupboard), then add some baked beans (i know it sounds discusting but you'll be mixing it in and you'll never taste it anyway) and mix with hands. if you want you can add some chilli to make it a chilli burger (not too much). ive heard that you can add a weetabix in it and mix all together.

make them into small balls and flatten into a burger shape on a tray, coo for 25mins and serve either ona bap or with chips.

remember you can add almost everything in your cupboards into a burger and you wont even tast most of it.

Just steak mince, finely chopped onion, and a little bit of raw egg to bind it all together.

Stick them under a medium grill till they're done.

Enjoy your tea :-)
