seems to be NO dead animals/birds that died a natural death, though there must be millions that died each year.

Scavengers probably snatch them up as soon as they hit the forest floor.

A dead bird is easy prey for carnivore but i have seen alot shot down and that could be why non of them die naturally, I feel sorry for the poor birds if a wing is broken it means automatic death, oh well, you probably don't want to see a bird die anyway=)

I have seen plenty! Which is scary, as some have tested positive for West Nile Virus in my area. But, birds have very lightweight builds & tiny bones, and kind of 'go back to the earth' very quickly. Plus, scavengers eat them!

That's why there are scavenger animals - keeps the ecosystem chugging along.

In nature, animals don't tend to die a natural death. Once they start to get old and less mobile, they get eaten by other predators.

What is up with this question? Are there ANY animals in the woods where you walk? I don't walk the woods and i see dead animals, but oh well, they might have gotten eaten somehow.
