There is a God, there is no Goddess.
Wicca is centered around sorcery which the Bible clearly tells us to flee. That's why I don't care for it. However, I have know many Wiccans and they are lovely people. I have noting against them personally, only their religion.

Wow! This is a large question that I am finding difficult to answer! I am Wiccan and believe in a God and a Goddess because that is what my heart and soul tells me to do. My teachings, over the years, have proved to me that these deities exist and yet if you ask a Christian they will tell you that I am of Satan and will burn in Hell! lol
I have a strength in me that comes from the Goddess and a belief that without the God there would be no world. Now this is my belief, but you can not have one without the other. Christians believe that we were made in the image of God. If this is true than why do some believe there is no Goddess. There are very few creatures on this earth that can procreate without both male and female. And I don't know of any human that can do this! I don't care what anyone may tell you, but you can not creat a child without the benefit of both male and female. I don't care if you put the stuff in a glass tube and shake, not stir, until ready and pour it out!
If this is not a sure sign of both God and Goddess I don't know what is. And, please, don't use the frog as an explanation for the dismissal of one or the other. HUMANS ARE NOT FROGS! Or lizards or any other cold blooded 'I can reproduce without the benefit of a male or female if I need to' does not work for warm blooded human beings.
I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea so please let me clarify that I was raised a Catholic and soon after marriage my husband of over twenty years attempted to convert me to Assembly. It worked for a while but I found there were just some things missing! One of the greatest things I seemed to be missing was the equality that I felt should be shared by both male and female alike. Men may have a physical strength greater than most females but females have an emotional strength, that at times seems greater than our male counter parts. We even each other out!
Is there a God and a Goddess? Yes, I believe that there is! And, like humans, I believe there are many! It is for this reason and many other reasons that Christians believe Wicca is evil! I suppose, this is my belief, that this is the reason Christians believe in a Deity called Satan! Again this is looked at as a God and Goddess or male and female point of view. Bad being the male and good being the female, or visa versa! Satan is bad and God is good! But, and I say this with the uttmost respect! All Gods are good and bad.
OH MY GOODNESS! How can she say something like this, you ask? Well, God himself said that he is a 'Jealous' God! However, Christians beleive that jealousy is a sin! Just like selfishness, greed and a number of other pronouns used to discribe their God! If this is true, than their God is no better or no worse than the God's I believe in!
I just believe that God is not alone on that higher plane of existance! I respect the Christian God, because he is a God! He has the ability to snuff out my existance just like any other God, if he chooses to do so! I respect the beliefs of Christians because they have such great faith in their God!
But, I just believe that their God is not alone! And, why would he want to be! Being alone is..well..lonely!
I know that I have written you a bit of a book about this, but I just couldn't keep it to a line or three! lol
Good Luck on your search and I wish there had been a bit more space and time to really tell you how I felt and what I believe.
Blessed Be

Well, here is my take on this I belive that there is a God and a Goddess, and they are one in the same. It is just a matter of your culture, gender, and life experiences that will influence your view. I think that people think that wicca is so bad, becuase they have been taught in the church(Catholic, Protestant, etc.) that anything pagan or resembleing it is of the devil.
Example: My huspand and I are both Christians. He grew up going to church every sunday, I did not. In fact, although I was raised a Christian, I can count on my hands the number of times that I have been in a church. Most of those times were for weddings or funerals. I think that as a result of this I am way more open-minded than most Christians, when it comes to religion and spirituality. Most Christians, or at least the ones that I know think that pagan means devil worship, since wicca is a form of neopaganism, a wiccan automatically registers in the typical christian's mind as "devil worshiper to be shunned". When in reality, paganism comes from the latin word paganus, which means country deweller. So pagan to the Romans who started Christanity as we know it today referred to the natives and their way of life in the places that Rome conquered. In Rome's best interests, anything that was not Roman, or that could not be turned to their benefit was immediately put down, as being uncivilised, or barbaric. A note on "barbaric", to the Greeks, barbaric meant forgein, or different. To the best of my knowledge, Rome took the term and ran with it, using it in a negative way.
Example: In pre-christian rome, early christians were mayrtered.
So when Rome got around to adopting christianity, they made sure that it fit with what they wanted. Women were second citizens in Rome, so they were second citizens in christianity. The pagan religions of the natives became just one more reason to persicute them, except now they could say that they were doing their duty to god.
Something to look into, is how smoothly that christianity took hold in Ireland amongst the Celts. Also, the Celtic Church vs. the Roman Church.
**note for those who will see my answer and disagree: Please be an adult and express your feelings by rating my answer. Reporting a person's answer as abuse just because it does not agree with what you belive defeats the whole purpose of Yahoo! Answers.**

People tend to think that Wicca is bad cause they don't know enough about it.
Most of the things people claim Wiccans do isn't even true, just assumptions from something they've been told by somebody else who didn't know anything about it.

Answer to your question in the subject header.
Yes. There are many.
Answer to your second question.
Negative Christian propaganda has created the false idea that those who follow the path of Wicca are satan worshipers. Wrong. We don't recognize his existence so why would be worship such a being?

Yes, the Lord and Lady Exist. They don't understand, and don't want to because it frightens them. Don't judge them too harshly.

wiccans are lame teenagers who think they have the ability to control the weather and other weird beliefs as well. Wicca isn't so much bad, as just plain lame.
