My 10 year old daughter has been dreaming about getting breast implants ever since she was 5 years old. She is a very smart and intelligent young lady and I want to make her happy. My husband and I think that it would be a very good idea for her to get the implants. My husband feels that it will boost her self esteem. One of my husbands 30 year old best friends even offered to take her out on her first date once she gets the procedure done. Some of our relatives don't think that she should get them yet, but I don't see anything wrong with it. Why shouldn't I let my 10 year old get breast implants?

Tell her that not many people her age have breasts anyway, and that she will eventually have real breasts. Also, tell her that surgery is risky, because it could get infected. And hello???? 30 year-old man taking 10-year old go on her first date? Something about that is not quite right. even if his intentions are good, a first date is meaningful and should be enjoyed with someone she likes, but she shouldn't even be dating this young. Don't let her grow up too fast. After all, she is not even a teenager!!! If it would really make her happy, try getting her a padded bra, and see what she thinks of it. But generally, surgery is out of the question. Too many risks, money, and not a good idea for someone so young. You couldn't even find a doctor who'd be willing to do the procedure, because they would know, she is too young.
If this is even a serious question,
definitely get her a padded bra instead. A better gift.

What planet are you living on? Or what drugs are you on? I wonder about your "values".
Breast implant surgery is expensive and carries medical risks. Also, I would say maybe, if your daughter was 18 or 20 and had completed her growth. However, at 10, she is still growing. Her own breasts are not completely filled out yet.
Why are you even considering this? Do the other 10 year olds look like Anna Nicole or Dolly Parton? I mean really!
Why would you want a ten year old girl to go out with a 30 year old anyway. Are you trying to push her into being sexually active?
You all need to see a psychiatrist. A ten year old should still be a child, not a woman yet. And if you get implants for your 10 year old you are not doing her any favors in the long run. I believe that it would be child abuse in the worst way. DON'T DO IT!!!

Well first off any place that you take her (that is legitimate) would not go through with the procedure because it is not in the patient's best interest. At the age of 10 a child has not finished developing and so any real altering such as breast implants might look good in the short term, but could really look messed up later when the child's body changes and develops more naturally.

Wow are you serious. This HAS to be a joke. A 10 year old being allowed to get implants is bad enough (she isnt even fully developed if she is developed at ALL at that age) considering letting her go out with a 30 yr old who offered to take her out after the procedure....now thats just not right in any way shape or form.

I can't believe you even asked this question. Why shouldn't you? For one thing, she isn't fully developed yet, for another I can't believe you would even consider letting your husbands 30 year old friend take her out. That is illegal by the way, to allow a 30 year old to "date" a 10 year old. When she is 17-18 and still wants breast implants, maybe but what kind of example are you setting for her? She is 10 years old and has probably barely (if at all) even hit puberity. That is just insane.

It is too early to even consider getting implants. Your child's body has not yet fully matured. How irresponsible of you. She needs to actually develop her own breasts first. And the fact that a 30 year old wants to take her on a date is just wrong!! What kind of parent are you??

Your relatives are OBVIOUSLY jealous of your daughter. This has been her dream for the past five years. If you have the means and the opportunity to allow her to see her dream through, then you would be negligent parents if you were to continue denying her this great advance in her life. Think of how cool and popular she will be in school, not to mention all the attention she will receive. Your husband is completely correct. And who better to take her out on a date than one of your husbands best friends? Not only will she be comfortable with him, but you know she will be safe. So in answer to your question, why shouldn't you allow her to get breast implants... THEIR IS NO REASON AT ALL!!!

You should definetly not, are you crazy!!!!!!!? You're dauter is only ten I bet when she gose to school the kids will make fun of her and that will lower her self esteam. If she is so smart she should be foucusing on school not her breasts, even if it is Valentines day. If you let her you will both regret some day!!!!!!!! Also there is such thing as getting adicted to it if you let her do it at this young of age then she will want to get a nose jog, and all over her body changed, she will proboly get addicted to it. Don't make that mistake and let her do it you will regret it! Hope that helps.

I think you already asked this question. First a 5 year old has no idea what breasts are. Second her breasts will grow as she goes through puberty. Third injecting her with silicon implants will mess her body up as they're not safe. Fourth your a bad parent both you and your husband and if you do have a daughter which I doubt you do I hope both of you are thrown in jail.
