Person A = Long term relationship
Person B = Fling
Person C = Someone else better than both of them.
Personally, i would choose Person C. A better match for you and good looking and not sleazy. Not too hard to find i hope. But I'm not too experienced in looking for men! :)

There are a few things here. First...You have extremely matching personalities? Do you lie to protect people? Do they need to be protected? Is it for his sake or theirs? Is it basically for noble reasons? However if he is sleazy that is one thing, the looks...Well...That can change if the person is good. I have met very beautiful women, who as I get to know them just turn ugly, and women that maybe would be considered plain, and maybe even ugly just get more b eautifyul as you know them. So if Person A is getting uglier...That maybe something you want to pay attention to.
Person B...Romance is fine and good...It lasts for a few months and then reality hits. Similar personalities are not all they are cracked up to be. My fiancee and I have similar music and humor tastes, but read completely different books, educations are completely different, intellect we are similar (she may be smarter, but I am a dude, so I probably won't totally admit this). I ramble. If he is movie Romantic, that is something that will not last, as you know movies aren't real...So make sure he isn't as sleazy, and just better at covering it.
Conversations pizzle out no matter how close your personalities are...but I think you learn more when you are different, and it honestly takes longer to dry up just because learning to communicate takes longer...Make sure Romance isn't covering up lack of communication skills. We do that!
Do what you need to do is basically what I am getting at...One or the other...Or both, or neither. There is no wrong in this situation. Just don't stomp all over anyone.

Go for B and dump sleazy.
Maybe you'll be surprized that B is able to talk about more things than you think he can. Or maybe you'll learn how to talk about more things than YOU think you can.
It sounds like the only thing on Person A's side is that you have "matching personalities". That can get old after a while. Being with someone with different interests than you can make you both grow.
Have fun!

Neither. Why do you feel you have to choose between these two? Keep living your life and you'll meet someone who is just right for you. Meanwhile, it sounds like guy B would make a good friend. I'd stay away from guy A.

Choose neither. You have already found faults with both. There are other boys out there. Find one who best matches your personality, values, etc., and in the long-run, you will be happier.

Oh, girl! You're going to choose one, then regret your decision, or get dumped, or something. I think you don't have a boyfriendat all, until one of them gets better, or you meet "Guy C."
