I know the Bible mentions it, but I know there are other texts that do as well. I have heard that Jewish texts are far more informative about Angels and their past...I just would like to know more, The Bible is spare in it's detail.

Milton's epic poem "Paradise Lost" - while generally viewed as more of a literary text than a religious one - deals with a second war between Heaven and Hell after Lucifer was already cast out. It occurs at the birth of Adam and Eve and meshes the two stories. It's a tough, detailed read, but it's definitely worth your time if the subject interests you. The only warning is that, as said above, it's more fantasy than Biblical fact.

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

There is not much written in the bible about the fall of Lucifer and the angels that joined in his rebellion. It is simply not described in great detail. But there are nuggets of information throughout the bible and direct observation we can use to piece together the story.

There are different ranks of angels in the Heavenly Host, the highest ranking being the Cherubim. Lucifer was most likely a Cherubim. He was the highest ranking angel, endowed with the most beauty, knowledge, authority, and power. Lucifer was intended to be the Prime Minister of the Universe. He had unique duties and powers, like all the angels. Lucifer was the cherubim that covereth. He was allowed to hover close to God and praise Him.

God first creates an environment, and then fills it with the appropriate living creatures. I believe this is what happened in Heavens. God first created the environment (three Heavens) and then filled them with the various Heavenly creatures. God accomplished this on the first day and then said it was good. The angels were able to watch God complete the creation during the subsequent five days. When the creation was complete, the heavenly host were amazed and praised God for His incredible creative works.

Mankind inherited the Earth directly from God, while still in it's perfect state. But sometime after our inheritance, and before the fall of man, Lucifer fell, and was changed into a being of pure evil, forevermore.

We know before creation week nothing existed except God (the Trinity). We also know that the angels praised God upon completion of His perfect creation on the seventh day. Before the creation, no angels exist. After the creation is competed, they do exist. I conclude that they were created during creation week, and that the fall of Lucifer and one third of the angels did not happen until after creation week, because on the seventh day God says that His six days of work were "very good". Thus, there was no damage to the creation yet, and therefore, Lucifer had not yet fallen.

I think there were at least two events in the solar system that were absolutely devastating. The first event would be the Fall of Lucifer and his angels. The other event being the great flood of Noah, which I will discuss later.

We must look at the origin of evil; we must understand The Mystery Of Iniquity. At some point Lucifer wants things run his way. Lucifer wants no part in stooping to the service of mankind. Lucifer wants mankind to stoop before him! Lucifer wants to be worshiped. "I will be like the One True God", Lucifer says in his famous I Will speech. [1] So Lucifer sins in pride by thinking he can replace God. Lucifer convinces one third of the millions of angels to join his rebellion. They rebel against God, God's plan, and all of God's creation. Lucifer's first attack is in Heaven directly against the One True God in an attempt to remove Him from His Throne of Glory.

God and His angels fight back and easily win. Lucifer and his rebel angels are cast out of heaven down to the areas of the earth. This is the fall of Lucifer/Satan and his dark, unholy angels. He will no longer be called Lucifer, after his fall, he is forevermore referred to as Satan, the adversary of God. He will no longer be able to choose between good and evil. The wet cement of his free will has hardened; he is now bent on evil, and only evil and can never change. Satan may still approach the Throne of his Creator, along with his rebel angels. Satan accuses us daily before the Throne of the Lord, and also walks "to and fro" on the earth. But a time is coming soon, when all who rebelled will be banned from heaven, trapped on the Earth, to experience the hell this planet will go through, during it's last 3 1/2 years.

Some believe that the angels populated the planets of the solar system during that initial perfect period of time. There are estimates of up to tens or hundreds of millions of angels were created. This is more than enough angels to populate the solar system without the need for reproduction.

A discussion has existed for hundreds of years debating whether the asteroid belt was once was a planet. The astrophysicists call this theoretical planet Phaeton. According to their calculations, a planet should be where the asteroid belt is now located. Of course, this theory flies in the face of the failed accretion model NASA is pushing on the public, so it is not well regarded.

Earth is the third planet from the sun. Mars is the forth. Mars and Jupiter's theoretical neighbor Phaeton would be the fifth planet from the sun. Some astronomers call this missing planet, Astera, while some biblical scholars call this missing planet Rahab. It would orbit "in the midst of the stones of fire". The stones of fire are thought to be the planets. If were ten planets and Rahab was te fifth, then Rahab is in the midst [middle] of the ten planets. Satan's planet would be where the asteroid belt is located now, prior to his fall.

There are also a group who think the "face on Mars", is a feature resembling a man's face looking upward. It can be found in the "so called" city of Cydonia on Mars. This city is complete with it's own pyramid. They feel that intelligent beings created these city-like structures. An even smaller subset of that small group, which includes me, think that the intelligent beings who built these structures were the angels and constructed these structures in praise of God. If this is true, then this face is the Messiah to come. I fear it may be a representation of satan himself.

NASA is slowly letting out facts about Mars that lead many to believe it once had an ocean and an atmosphere, long ago. If so, what happened? Why are meteorites found at the south pole of Earth, with Martian soil in them. Why did Mars lose it's ocean(s)? What could have stripped away a planet's atmosphere? What happened to Lucifer's planet? Why are all the planets and moons cratered, and some even shattered? These things don't sound like products of a perfect creation. It sounds more like the result of chaos and destruction, not perfection. Or in more precise terms, this may be evedence of God's judgement. A judgement against who? You guessed it, Lucifer. Being the highest spiritual life form created, he must have had an equally proportionate punishment pronounced on him, when he fell.

I assert that before his fall, the universe was in perfect balance. After his fall, I believe imbalance, radioactive decay, a slow change in the speed of light, and the first destruction resulted because of Lucifer's fall. Not only this but I also believe Lucifer's had his own planet that was completely shattered. God probably brought some celestial body in from outside the solar system to collide with the now missing planet. It is presumed based on some calculations that this theoretical planet was nearly Jupiter sized. I think this mean a huge potential for debris. I would not presume to know the physics involved in any of this theory, but I bet Phaeton had enough un vaporized matter ejected to account for most of the cratering we see everywhere in our solar system. But during this event I contend that within the Garden of Eden, everything is still pristine and perfect. In fact, the garden does not change at all when mankind falls. We are simply evicted from the garden and the ground we work outside the garden, is cursed.

So I think after creation and after some time passes, Lucifer sins, he is judged by God, punishment is pronounced and executed against him, and shortly thereafter, Satan tempts Adam and Eve. Since Adam and Eve were still in perfect bliss when Lucifer falls, I deduce it had no effect on God's garden. But I think the effects of the fall can be found everywhere, outside of the protected garden.

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Ezekiel 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. 16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. 17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. 19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
