She has cancer in her liver, neck, chest,and hip.We have just found out and are devistated.She will be starting chemo treatments next week.She will probably never work again.She has worked hard all her life.This is so sad.

You start with the doctor and then social services. It's a sad situation when people really need it and the paper work takes forever so she should start the ball rolling now.

Unless it has changed from 3 years ago It was gonna take my mom 6 months to get it Her 1st check was supposed to come in February and she died on January 9Th so she never got it. Try your local Health Department to see if there's anything available for her. GOOD LUCK!

Wow, that is so sad! I've had many family members die of cancer, it's a terrible disease. Call your social security disability office, they will help your friend. Good luck!
