That is a VERY good question...one that every person should ponder long and hard on...well, you know how they carve the fat off of a butchered pig and boil it to 'render' the lard that you see for sale in the supermarket? Well......
Hahahaha....just joking people...it's mineral oil.

a "funny but true" story for you..
GERBER...you know..the baby-food people???>..
the had a problem in lower Africa...they were sending over all of these baby-food jars with pictures of babies on the front of them...their famous trademark...
WELL.....the people of these lower african countries were HORRIFIED and wouldn't use the product...
it seems that all of the other preserved and canned goods....show the items on the outside..as a picture of what was on the INSIDE....beans....potatoes..corn...tomatoes....and they wouldn't use the baby-food product..because it had a picture of a BABY on the outside...THEY thought it had ground-up babies inside it..becasue of the picture on the label.
Gerber changed the label and it was fine...1970's "funny but true" story.
so baby oil? ...comes from babies...according to remote african countries...
but it is really so-named because it is oil for babies..english is a really mixed up language, isn't it..
Here's a couple more examples for you...
Why do they have "interstate" roadways in Hawaii????
and/.....
why are there braille markings....on DRIVE-THROUGH BANK machines?????
Enjoy !!!
