So this girl, Anja, lives in another country and I'm well keen. I saw her last week and she asked me if I was going to see other people. I said that it is a possibility. She said well ok, so long as you don't really like them and so long as you tell me........ So last night I ended up drunkenly in bed with a friend and we had sex. I regret it. This morning I have a text from Anja saying how nice our telephone conversation yesterday was. I loved it too. But now I have a problem.... do I tell her and risk hurting her and losing her? Or do I keep quiet and break my promise that I would tell her if anything happened?..... what a mess.. what do you think?

I think it's best to tell her. yeah you may risk losing her but it will be much worse if you don't tell her and she finds out. Tell her what you told us. You were drunk, it happened you deeply regret it and it won't happen again. Better she finds out now

well, first of all,, you don't need to make commitments to someone you have only known a short time,,,, wait until you are both ready not to see anyone else,,,,, then make the commitment to be with only each other,, after that point then yes you should tell if you are unfaithful,,,,,,,,,,, its very odd for someone to say its ok to see other people as long as you dont care for them and you tell me ! i guess in this case, since you promised , you should tell,,,,you did tell her you possibly would see other people, i guess the question is when she said tell her, did you actually promise ?

Better to tell her before she hears it from someone else. You have more of a chance losing her if she finds out you lied to her or broke your promise. Man up and come clean. A good relationship cant be built on lies and deciet. Good Luck

well she said u should tell her if u didnt something like this, didnt she? so why are u even asking? of course u should tell her. u should always tell your partner if u cheat, its only fair. to be honest i dont think your falling in love with this girl. u have only known her a week and have slept with someone else, which u wont really be doing if u loved her.

Make a new commitment or contract with her tell her that the one before doesn't incorporate what you want it to and leaves room for doubt and maneuver like..................make a new one stick to it and mean it. Forget the old immediately.

First, go get tested for possible diseases. And she asked you to be honest with her so be honest. She needs to know what she is getting into because if you want to build a relationship with her, you need to be honest.

well if it was just a one time thing and you are not involved with this one niter then I wouldn't . you cant change it and all it would do is hurt her...... you either need to be with her or not.. don't play with folks feeling like that...
