but am afraid to say it. at the moment we only meet each other when he wants and I text him and sometimes he texts me back or calls me the next day. I really like him a lot and dont know how to find out what he really feels he has an ex floating in the backround but says its totally over with her. any advice

Oh man I hate that stage of a relationship! To be honest, the best thing you can do is keep up what you are doing. Text or call him once in a while, but let him do about 80 percent of the chasing!
