I am really pleased that people want to come to Britain to work, because recent immigration from Eastern Europe has transformed our building industry - how else are we going to be ready for the 2012 Olympics ? British workers would never graft like they do.

But unfocussed questions like this annoy me. What kind of help are you asking for ? Housing ? We have a severe shortage and it's expensive, so forget that. A job ? There's plenty of work here - what are your qualifications ? Get yourself organised.
