games or they never call. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong:-( Why does this keep happening to me? It's is like I'm a magnet for unavailable men. If they are available it's like they get my number but never call. Yes, these men I do meet at happy hours and bars.

So have a little change between you like what was on the news or a bet then you can phone them up even if you lose and say lets go for coffee and you pay because you lost. The idea is to make it memorable so that they do not for get you at all right.

No it's not really you.

Most of the good ones are taken and their smart ladies are not giving them up!

99% of the time you will never meet Mr. or Mrs. right in a bar!

We all tend to have a certain image in our minds of the ideal guy for us and sometimes we need to look beyond physical appearances to find a real gem.

Having played the dating scene for many years and being in the same predicament as yourself I finally turned to Internet dating. In the 4 yrs I did this I met a lot of nice people ( and only a couple of jerks!). Most of the folks on these sights are tired of the bar scene too. Many are professional businessmen and women or single mom and dad's looking for a lasting relationship NOT a one night stand.

Hint: If you do this I suggest you have an open mind and correspond /meet a lot of different guys even if you don't think the guy is gorgeous etc. You might be very surprised.

I was in my 40's when I started dating this way and
I found my husband on Cupid.com and we have been married 3 yrs!

Good Luck and Happy dating!

I was once told that I am what I attract. I disagreed at the time, but it was true. I was just as "broken" as the men I tried to "mend". (I joked I had an invisible sign on my forehead that only men could see, that said ALL LOSERS STOP HERE). Happy Hours and Bars are not the place to meet a nice man. They usually have problems and are drinking their cares away. If you want to meet a good man, try church. Be upfront, ask them if they are unavailable, then tell them thanks but no thanks and the ones that are available, well they met you in a bar, that tells them something.

You and I are in the same boat. Sort of! I like the women and I find out they have boyfriends or married. C'est la vie! Stay positive and they will come.
