That is a complicated situation. Here is why....you can't use dye to lighted a darker color. Your hair is black...the only way you can go lighter and have the results you want is to lighten it with bleach or booster. For this, I recommend going to a professional. Always remember this. You can make your hair darker with hair color. But color does not lift color to a lighter level with desired results.

Having natural black hair, dyes won't change it to brown. You will have to probably have it professionally done, it has to be stripped of color (bleached), then redyed. Lengthy and expensive process. I am not aware that they sell hennas anymore, they were used for just highlighting brown hair to making it make red. Good Luck.

u can use henna , it is very good and it has all kond of colours , any brand will do , and it stays for a longer time than hair dyes

You can try hennas, they are more gentle on the hair.
