No, not accurately and it also depends on what questions you're asking.

Most answers given by people are mostly based on personal opinions and the best answer is probably chosen on how happy the answer made you feel or how impactful etc. Thus accuracy is limited.

If a question asked is something with no distict black and white answers then it is unlikely to resolve. This includes questions like "Why is there war in this world?", "Does God exist?" etc etc, there is no absolute or factual evidence to support any stand because its dervived from opinions. But if a question is requires a factual answer, i.e. "Does gravity exist?", "Who invented the light bulb?' then yes, Yahoo! Answers can help.

Or if you want an answer based on opinions, i.e "Must dos in Switzerland?", yes Yahoo! Answers can help. Otherwise, no.

in order for answers to help solve global issues, i would have to assume that a lot of global people would have to be using answers. and i dont think that they do. at least not very many. the questions on answers get passed really fast, too, so it is sometimes hard to keep up. if more people were on here, it would only go faster, but i do think it would help to resolve a lot of things, yes. but.... would there actually be any action seen because of it? i dont know. one thing that is good about answers is that it allows someone to think before they act, and the "backspace" button is always a good thing, which you do not have when actually having a verbal conference with someone.
