Operations in Somalia and the Horn of Africa are part of OEF - Operation Enduring Freedom. OEF is the catch-all operation for all response to the 9-11 attacks, excluding operations in Iraq, which is OIF - Operation Iraqi Freedom.

The Task Force for this area of the world is not in Somalia, but rather Djibouti. There are occasional humanitarian missions from there into Somalia.
