Adobe InDesign if Windows and Quark if Mac although I prefer Windows and InDesign. This is the professional program that printers use to publish.

Trust me I have experience in this. You can get a Creative Suite (CS2) bundle for around $1,000 that includes photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat. It is the publisher's bundle.

This is a good deal seeing how the individual programs can cost over $2,000 if purchased alone.

Hey Kickn,

With all the advances in software, thought there might be one especially for yearbooks. So, looking around on the net, you see the first site results. Then while continuing to look for more, the second site popped up, and recommends the first site, Booksoft.com. Then, the rest of this came up, apparently there are a lot of options.

There are a number of free desktop publishing programs available. There is one called Serif Page Plus SE (http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/software/PagePlus/default.asp) is really good that I use for newsletters and flyers. Reasonably basic to use if you can use 'word'.

I element your more suitable constructive off spending you money on an exterior rigidity inclosure and deploy the rigidity into it to get the archives off of it. by using what you defined, I truly have severe doubt your going to get it up and dealing back. simply by the undeniable fact that's old it would have an IDE rigidity so ascertain the inclosure has that adapter.
