You could try getting a standard household iron, put it on the lowest setting (of course), and just gently run that over the length of your hair.

The best hair straightners on the market are the wet/dry ones with ceramic plates. The ceramic plates give an even heat that is more gentle on the hair and the wet/dry function means you can straighten your hair whilst it is still damp locking in the moisture. buy yourself a reasonably good hair straightener. and always apply a protecting serum before you do any straightening.. it's better for you hair and gives it a nice natural looking shine after.
