Driving through from the blue bridge through Frith to Prestatyn it seems to have been run down,the little development at frith has gone to bits,whats the story there anyone know? and Prestatyn well the area used to be so nice what a shame.
The only thing which seems to be developing along this coast now is speed cameras i think i"ll stay away for a while.

it be came run down as more and more people decided to hoiliday abrode and the younger poeple moved away to collge and find awork it became a retirement town or very cheap to get a beach hoilday for underprivalaged kids most care kids at some point went to rhyl . there is all so a lot of mental health isuse from social problems as poverty set in drugs ran fit.now theres no concil money funds. but they are on a bout a modernisatiuon soon i know this as my sister in law moved there to help a terminal ill friend.

Like many places in the UK Rhyl as suffered from a lack of the holiday makers who used to come and spend a week in Wales but now tend to fly off to the Med.The end product of this is that a lot of the property that catered for these people as become very run down and now is only fit for the homeless and asylum seekers.The only plus side is that on nice day it still attracts a good number of day trippers.

Rhyl I easily have been to this beach city many circumstances, and that i've got seen many alterations over the years. The honest that was once on the tip of Rhyl coastline (final time I went) exchange into closed, the sunlight center, which I easily have had many hours of relaxing at, exchange into looking previous and in could fix, it is basically some alterations i will think of of off the final of my head. all in all 10-15 years in the past I enjoyed Rhyl, yet now i think of its boring, and might like Southport or Blackpool.

i used to go to prestatyn as a kid too,prob 25 yrs ago,met some nice girls when i was a teenager there, great days,looking a bit dodgy now though.

Such a brilliant question...I used to go to Rhyl sun centre when I was 13...I'm now 36...oh the fun I had..and that girl..that question has made me laugh loud!!!

I went to Rhyl last year... its definatly run down... but is ther something being done on the seafront? it was all blocked off so i don't know what was being develpoed :S x
