Is it possible? I need to copy an image from PDF for a Word Document but don't know how to do it. I googled this but only managed to find a load of gobbledegook.
Thanks :-)

I've tried delecting/right-clicking and all the usual stuff. You can only copy the text, not the images, it seems.
Thanks for the advice, all - any more ideas? x

Is the image something other than text? If so, I usually click print, then print to file, then open file.I then high light and right click image and click save to ,...pictures, or bitmap in paint. Text, I do the same but save it to a text writing folder like notepad,o r clipboard or my yahoo briefcase..
Do you use windows home edition? If so,... click on start then Help and Support type in....How to copy text and graphics from Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files or try link below.Link is to thr real & right way answer. It also gives the answe to each version of Adobe reader. Do you now what version you have? If not click the Start, menu button got to Control Pannel and then to Add or Remove scroll to Adobe reader it will say something like adobe reader 6.x , or 6.0.1 Hope some of this helps!

I may be wrong here but I am fairly sure you can't copy an image from a PDF document.
However, for argument's sake, using your mouse, right click on the image you want - a menu will appear and the option "Save As" should appear. Click on "Save As" and you can give the image a name and change where you want to store the image making sure it is saved as a Jpeg file. Then you can insert the image as you please, into a Word document.

If you look on your toolbar in Acrobat (I use version 7, I don't know about other versions) there is an icon with a picture of a camera on it. This is the snapshot tool. Click on it, draw around your image and the image is copied to your clipboard. Then simply go to Microsoft Word and from the edit menu choose paste or simply press the buttons ctrl and V to paste the image to Word.

If you have adobe acrobat reader you cannot copy the image. download adobe acrobat professional 7.0 or 8.0 trial from the adobe website. if you want full version download it from www.phazeddl.com or download a torrent from www.torrentportal.com.(you need Bittorrent or U torrent for downloading torrent file)
