SAMSUNG NV3 dig camera and D-TEC 4GB mem card? compatability?

when the card i bought is put into the camera it just states "memory Full", and wont let me do anything else! its a brand spanking new camera with 7megapixels. anyone help?

You may need to format the card - see your manual for details. Alternatively, your camera may not take 4gb cards - again check the manual. If neither of these work, take the camera and card back to where you brought them in case there is a fault in one or the other.
