Like a creamy sauce with potatoes and clams, but the clams don't taste bad, depending on which brand you buy/use. I love Ivar's Clam Chowder, oh yeah! :)

Good clam chowder is absolutely delicious. It has a seafood taste along with potato and onions. Why not try it. My Mom always said try it first and then express your like or dislike.
If you don't like it, you just throw it out.

There are 2 kinds of Clam Chowder
one is "Manhattan" that has more Veg tables and Tomatoes
the other is "New England" This one is made with more milk and potatoes. Both taste good. especially with colder weather they warm you up.
