The chicken.. which grew up to be a hen.. which in turn laid an egg.. umm.. or was it the other way round.. was it the egg that hatched into a the chicken that grew up to be a hen.. which later laid an egg.. which hatched into a chicken...
this is getting confusing!

if adam came b4 eve then applying the pattern to all animals then the chicken(male) would come earlier than the hen(female)
