no Persian isn't hard ... and buddy no more "farsi" !!! it's PERSIAN !!! as well as Persisch in German and Persane in French and Persisk in etc and .........

US Library of Congress says:

It is a relatively easy language for English-speaking people to learn compared with any other major language of the Middle East. Verbs tend to be regular, nouns lack gender and case distinction, prepositions are much used, noun plural formation tends to be regular, and word order is important. The difficulty of the language lies in the subtlety and variety of word meanings according to context.

it IS hard even for iranian speakers. the grammar rules change from time to time and I'm sure that even a "farsi professor" believes that farsi grammar shouldn't be like this.

The speaking is backwards of that of English. I'm an American boy living in Iran. My name is actually Ali...I am comfortable knowing at least some Iranians have fun, like you!

The alphabet is easy, the reading right to left is easy too. The grammer is very hard though. So is conjugating the verbs. Last, knowing when to use Ro can be tricky.
