it sounds like colitus to me. heres some info about it

THE SIGNS & SYMPTOMS of COLITIS
The colon is the last part of the large intestine extending from the caecum to the rectum. Inflammation of the colon is referred to as colitis and is a relatively common condition in dogs. Colitis is far less common in cats.

Symptoms of colitis can include:

Stools containing mucus or jelly-like material
Small stools, which are passed frequently
Fresh blood in the stools
Diarrhoea or loose stools
Variable stool consistency, from complete liquid to solid or a mixture of both
More frequent passage of stools up to six times a day or more
Straining before, during and after stools are passed
Flatulence
Vomiting, fever, abdominal pain and weight loss in severe cases
CAUSES OF COLITIS
Colitis can affect dogs or cats of any age, although some breeds of dog are particularly prone to this condition.

Common causes include:

Food allergies or dietary intolerance to specific food ingredients
Stress
Parasites, including hookworm and whipworm
Many cases of colitis are idiopathic in origin, meaning that the exact cause cannot be identified.

MANAGING COLITIS
Once a diagnosis has been established, your vet may use a number of drugs to help control the symptoms. These include antibiotics and corticosteroids such as prednisolone. However, it is often possible to control the illness by other means.

hope that helps. i suggest phoning the vet immediatly and take any advice from them. hope ure pup gets better soon!! :)

answer me this. If it was you with bloody diarrhoeah, would you come here and ask, or go to a docter quickly? What if it was your child?
I am truly gobsmacked. If one of my dogs had bloody diarrhoeah, I would be at the vets within 15 minutes.

you'd better get him to the vets fast its not normal for a puppy to have diarrhoea of any kind let alone with blood in it.

Would you be worried if you had bloody diarrhoea? Haemorrhoid's? Bowel cancer? Stomach cancer?

Worms do not usually cause bleeding. Infection, poisons, foreign bodies do.

Your pup may well have eaten something that has irritated his bowel or poisoned him or he may have Parvo Virus which could kill him.

I would take him to a Vet immediately.

What do you do?

Go on the computer and ask total strangers for advice!

I know milk gives them diarrhoea, make sure you give it the special dog milk rather than normal milk since its specially made so that their stomach can handle it. Saying that i'm no vet nor expert therefore you should probably go to the vet.
